Statement Of Faith
Meet Colin
Colin Williams has been a follower of Jesus since September 1994. Although raised in a Christian home, he walked away from his faith at fifteen and spent years running from the God he thought he knew. It wasn’t until he was nearly thirty that he finally stopped running — and discovered that God had never stopped pursuing him.
Through some of life’s darkest moments, Colin has experienced firsthand the truth that God never leaves us nor forsakes us. Moments before he gave his life to Jesus, he prayed, “God, if I do this, I want You to make Yourself real to me.” God has been faithful to that request ever since.
Colin has long carried the desire to write — a calling that felt as natural as breathing. Putting those first words on the page wasn’t easy, but with the encouragement of a close friend, he began writing in 2018 and stepped into his professional literary journey.
His debut novel, Haighs Flat, introduced readers to a rural community marked by resilience, mystery, and grace. His second novel continues that world, exploring themes of hope, healing, and the unexpected ways God weaves lives together.

Statement of Faith
The Triune God
I believe in one eternal, self‑existent, perfect God who created, sustains, and rules all things. God is triune: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — three Persons, one God, equal in glory and majesty.
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became fully man without ceasing to be fully God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died as the full atonement for sin, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, intercedes for believers, and will return bodily to judge the living and the dead.
The Holy Spirit is Lord and Giver of life. He glorifies Christ, convicts the world of sin, regenerates sinners, and indwells believers to produce righteousness.
God reveals Himself in Scripture using masculine titles and pronouns.
Scripture
I believe the 66 books of the Bible are the inspired, inerrant, infallible, authoritative, and sufficient Word of God.
Scripture interprets Scripture, and everything necessary for salvation is clearly taught within it.
The Bible’s authority extends to all areas it addresses, including history and science.
Creation, Origins & History
I believe Genesis 1–11 records real historical events and provides the true framework for understanding origins.
• God created all original “kinds,” including humanity, directly and supernaturally — not through evolutionary processes.
• Biological variation occurs only within created kinds.
• Noah’s Flood was a global, catastrophic, historical event responsible for most fossil‑bearing sediments.
• Humanity and creation have a recent origin, with six literal 24‑hour creation days.
• Attempts to fit evolution or millions of years into Genesis are incompatible with Scripture.
• No evidence can override the clear teaching of Scripture, since evidence is interpreted by fallible humans.
Humanity
I believe God created humanity in His image as two complementary genders: male and female.
Adam was created from dust and Eve from Adam’s rib — not from prior lifeforms.
Human life begins at conception and must be protected. Abortion, euthanasia, and assisted suicide violate God’s law.
There is one human race, descended from Adam and Eve and later Noah. All people possess equal dignity and value.
Modern concepts such as social justice, intersectionality, and critical race theory (as commonly defined today) are unbiblical.
Parents are responsible for raising their children in the Christian faith.
Marriage & Sexuality
• Marriage is only between one naturally born man and one naturally born woman.
• Sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage alone.
• All sexual activity outside biblical marriage is sinful.
• Gender is determined at conception and cannot be changed.
• Rejecting one’s biological sex is sinful, yet these truths must be communicated with compassion, love, and respect, pointing all people to redemption in Christ.
Sin
I believe Adam and Eve’s historical fall brought sin, death, suffering, and natural evil into the world.
All people are sinners by nature and choice, deserving God’s judgment.
All humans are equally sinful and equally able to receive salvation through Christ.
Salvation
Creation and the gospel are inseparable.
Salvation is available only through the sacrificial death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
It is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
A true believer repents, trusts Christ’s finished work, and receives Him as Savior, Lord, and God.
The Church
The church consists of all who have saving faith in Christ and are united to Him as the Head.
Unbelievers face eternal, conscious punishment in hell; believers enjoy eternal life with God.
Christians are called to fellowship in a local, Bible‑believing church, worship God, support the Great Commission, and love one another sincerely.
Christ’s Return
Jesus Christ will personally and bodily return in glory to consummate His kingdom and judge the living and the dead.
All people will be resurrected:
• believers to eternal life,
• unbelievers to eternal punishment.
Satan is a real personal being who will be eternally judged in the lake of fire
